If it's faulty, we'll replace or refund it. If you change your mind, you can return unused and resaleable memory products within 30 days for a refund on the product price (commercial quantities or special order items are excepted). For other products that have been unopened, you have 14 days to return them for a refund. For Microsoft software license products, commercial quantities and special order items, there are no returns or refunds if you change your mind.
Our Returns Policy includes, and does not seek to exclude or limit, the rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. The warranties and product support that we offer and provide pursuant to our Terms and Conditions are in addition to the consumer warranties and guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law.

We have one of the most generous and hassle-free returns policies in the industry, but wait, did you know that most of the memory modules and SSD's returned to us are not actually defective? These simple troubleshooting solutions help most of our customers solve any problems they run in to.
Types of Returns
Returns generally fall into two categories. Select below the one that best suits your situation for more information:
Submitting a return request does not guarantee its acceptance and must be reviewed by our returns team before an RMA (Return Merchandise Authority) will be issued.
Before you request a return

To qualify for a warranty replacement:
- The fault must be due to a manufacturer's defect when shipped.
- Misuse, mishandling, or wrongful installation will void the warranty.

Lodge a Return Request
- Please email sales@ramcity.com.au with your original order number and the reason for your return.
- One of our friendly Service Team members will then get in touch to provide information to help complete your return.
To qualify for a refund:
For memory module(s) you must ensure:
- The module(s) must have been purchased from ramcity.com.au
- The module(s) must have been purchased less than 90 days from the date of your refund request.
- The module(s) must not be a special order item or a commercial quantity.
- The module(s) must include the original undamaged packaging.
- The packaging must be in saleable condition (undamaged) Note: Modules with damaged or opened packaging may be returned within 30 days, but a restocking fee of 15% or $15AUD (whichever is the greater) applies. See the full details of our our full Terms and Conditions of Sale.
For accessories
- The products must have been purchased from ramcity.com.au
- The product must have been purchased less than 14 days from the date of your refund request.
- The product must include the original undamaged packaging and any included software CDs.
- The packaging must be in saleable condition (undamaged) Note: Accessories with damaged or opened packaging may be returned within 14 days, but a restocking fee of 15% or $15AUD (whichever is the greater) applies. See the full details of our our full Terms and Conditions of Sale.
For hard drives and SSD's and other Storage Devices, your return will fall into one of the two below categories
If you simply have a change of mind and wish to return the product for refund, you must ensure:
- The products must have been purchased from ramcity.com.au
- The products must be unused with no data written
- The item has been purchased less than 14 days from the time of submitting your request
- Be in its original unopened packaging
- The packaging must be in saleable condition (undamaged)
- For Microsoft software license products there are no returns or refunds
If you have incorrectly purchased the item, you must submit a request to be reviewed. Before submitting a request, you must ensure:
- The products must have been purchased from ramcity.com.au
- The item has been purchased less than 14 days of submitting your request
- Be in its original unopened packaging and any included software CD's.
- The packaging must be in saleable condition (undamaged)
Note: Hard drives, SSD's or other storage devices that have not been used (not powered on or had data written to them) with damaged or opened packaging may be returned within 14 days, but a restocking fee of 15% or $15AUD (whichever is the greater) applies.
Note: Should an item be used in an incorrect manner or abused in any way, RamCity is not required to refund the items should they fail due to this misuse. Regardless of the 14 day policy advised above.
If you purchased memory modules more than 30 days ago, or other products more than 14 days ago, the product cannot be returned for a refund. However, if there is a problem you can still request a warranty replacement.
